Linuxfx Computing run various on-line projects, including the following websites and various aspects of technical support:
High Peak Autism and Asperger's Support Group.

Based in Buxton, Derbyshire, this group had no on-line presence nor contact email addresses. Linuxfx assessed the needs of the group and formulated the following:



  • Created a website.
  • Registered a website name.
  • Created a new logo for the group.
  • Constructed some contact email addresses for the group.
  • Made some business cards for distributing.
  • Created a flyer, making it available to download on-line.
  • Created an XML site map.
  • Google analytics, bespoke meta-data and a page linking national group websites to the group's homepage.

South Lakeland Autism and Asperger's Support Group.

Based in Kendal, Cumbria, this group had an existing website that needed a complete re-write.


  •  Linuxfx created a new site, utilising 'Mailman' for an on-line mailing list.
  • A new logo for the group.
  • XML site map created.
  • Meta-data created pertaining to the group.

Caspar - Cheshire Asperger Syndrome Parents Action for Resources (ongoing)

This is a recent addition to Linuxfx Computing and we were recently asked to take over the administration of the website. This is a Joomla CMS with good functionality within the control panel.

East Cheshire Linux User Group

East Cheshire Linux User Group is a new venture aimed at bringing together Linux users in the Macclesfield and surrounding areas.
Linuxfx have created an initial community site on NING to test the water.
The first meeting took place at The Society Rooms, Macclesfield  in January 2010. With quite a few members already, the hope is that this group will go from strength to strength over the coming months.
